Kindenheimer

Katzenstein

The Katzenstein is a very old, traditional location, which stretches at an altitude of 200 meters (NHN) above the town of Kindenheim. It faces southeast. Its subsoil consists of solid limestone. A large, bright, rock-shaped limestone in the middle of the vineyard, which points to a prehistoric place of worship, gives the location its name. In 1996, we planted the red Rhône variety Syrah here.
